Secrat Santa: Palingarn

Belated christmas-wish-thingy-thing for CrowNimmermehr !
We (the fabulous Roth-Fuchs & CoyoteCanine) took our annual new year´s celebration as an opportunity to realize a collab/to design a creature for the story of CrowNimmermehr's so called "Schattenwelt"

Palingarn (Die Amme/foster mother)

Meaning: Palin [ancient greek] once again/birth; Garn [german] string;
Species: saw-whet owl, tersa sphinx moth, dustbunny spider  
Colours:  maroon, khaki, orange, creme white
Function: Palingarn is a small Schattenwesen/Shadowcreature, residing in Path-Os' Soultree. It collects, sorts and takes care of the souls until he takes them to his factory. Once a new soul arrives, it'll yarn a cocoon for them and put them on the trees like eerie fruits or ornaments. When she's not spinning or searching souls for Big Raven, she'll sing her little children ghostly lullabies that can be heard from miles away and are known to haunt the weak-minded. Palingarn can't see. It's known to be able to talk, but it rarely, if ever, does.
During it's lifetime, it was a severely handicapped child, who died young.

It was tons of fun! We worked three whole days on this and it was a great experience for us. So... we hope, you can use and enjoy it as much, as we did while working on it : D!

If you count the digital thingything stuff magic it was actually 4 days! Those two creeps stayed one extra day so we could see it get finished together 
As she stated it was lot's n lot's of fun! And a great ego-boost to say the least! Thanks for providing such a fun wish and I hope you really love the result! Stand tall and keep on creating! x3
